  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Wash the baby carrots under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until you create a smooth mixture.
  • Add the baby carrots to the bowl and toss them well in the spice and oil mixture until they are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Once preheated, place the carrots in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the carrots for about 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for doneness by piercing a carrot with a fork; it should be tender but slightly crisp.
  • Carefully remove the carrots from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use fresh baby carrots. Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket and consider experimenting with different spices for unique flavors.
