Preparation

  • Wash the Brussels sprouts under cold water, remove any wilted leaves, and trim the stem ends. If the sprouts are large, cut them in half.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cleaned Brussels sprouts with olive oil and toss until fully coated.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper over the sprouts and mix until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Check for desired crispiness after 12 minutes and cook longer if necessary.
  • Once golden brown and crispy, remove the basket from the air fryer. Drizzle with balsamic glaze or fresh lemon juice before serving.
