  • 1 head medium head of cabbage You can use green, red, or Napa cabbage.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Acts as a coating for crispiness.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Adds flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds color and flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on preference.

Preparation

  • Clean the cabbage by removing any damaged outer leaves and rinsing the head under cold water. Pat dry.
  • Cut the cabbage into wedges by slicing it in half through the core, then cut each half into quarters, keeping the core intact.
  • In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Gently toss the cabbage wedges in the seasoning mixture until they are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (188°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the cabbage wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Monitor to avoid burning.
  • Once the wedges are golden brown and crispy, remove them and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with dips like ranch, hummus, or yogurt sauce. Great as a side to grilled meats or as a snack.
