Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots Fresh and peeled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil To coat the carrots
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For flavor
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For additional flavor and color
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional fresh parsley For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Peel the carrots and cut them into long, thin strips resembling traditional fries.
  • In a large bowl, mix the carrot strips with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned carrot fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Cook the fries for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Once golden and tender, carefully remove the fries and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Optionally, sprinkle fresh parsley over the fries before serving.

Notes

To keep fries crisp, ensure carrot strips are uniform in size. Experiment with different seasonings for variation. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) to restore crispiness.
