  • 4 large carrots Peeled and cut into fry-shaped strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • optional Fresh herbs for garnish Such as parsley or cilantro

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel the carrots and cut them into fry-shaped strips, about ¼ inch thick.
  • In a large bowl, combine the carrot fries with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss well to ensure every fry is coated evenly.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the carrot fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding them to allow proper air circulation.
  • Cook the fries for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness. They should turn golden brown and become crispy on the outside.

Serving

  • Once cooked, remove the fries from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider seasoning the fries after cooking. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes.
