Chicken Coating

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces Use fresh chicken for best flavor.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for added crunch.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Adds flavor and helps the coating stick.
  • 2 large eggs Used as an egg wash.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika Adds color and flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • as needed Cooking spray Used to enhance crispness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs until frothy.

Coating Chicken

  • Dip each piece of chicken into the egg wash, ensuring full coating.
  • Roll chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing slightly.

Cooking

  • Arrange nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Mist the chicken lightly with cooking spray.
  • Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from fryer and let cool for a minute before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, air fry from frozen at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
