  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Set up your breading station: In one bowl, mix flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. In another bowl, place beaten eggs. In a third bowl, place breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, ensuring it's well-coated. Shake off any excess flour.
  • Next, dip the floured chicken strip into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
  • Finally, coat the chicken strip in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to stick.

Cooking

  • Place the coated chicken strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Lightly spray the strips with cooking spray.
  • Cook the chicken strips for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reads 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage.
