Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water Adjust as needed for dough consistency.

Flavorings

  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (like parsley or basil), chopped Feel free to experiment with other herbs.
  • Extra olive oil for brushing
  • Optional: grated cheese for topping Can be added before cooking.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add olive oil and warm water.
  • Stir until the mixture forms a dough. If too sticky, add more flour.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each into a flat round shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic and chopped herbs. Spread this mixture over each dough piece.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Lightly brush each flatbread with olive oil and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  • Remove from air fryer, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve alongside warm dips or top with various toppings like ricotta cheese, grilled vegetables, or use it as a mini pizza base.
