  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper For seasoning.
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Optional for heat.

Preparation

  • Rinse fresh green beans under cold water to clean them thoroughly.
  • Trim the ends off each bean using a sharp knife, ensuring they are all about the same length.
  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and optional crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  • Add the green beans to the bowl and toss to evenly coat with the seasoning mixture.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook the green beans for 7-10 minutes, shaking the basket or stirring the beans halfway through.
  • Once crispy and tender, remove them from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For serving, pair with grilled chicken, roast beef, or toss with toasted almonds for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
