Preparation

  • Peel the russet potatoes, then grate them using a box grater or food processor.
  • Rinse the grated potatoes in cold water to remove excess starch.
  • Thoroughly dry the potatoes using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, mix the grated potatoes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil, adding any optional ingredients if desired.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Spread the potato mixture evenly in the air fryer basket.

Cooking

  • Cook for about 15-20 minutes, tossing halfway through to ensure even browning.
  • Check for desired crispness and serve hot.
