  • 10 pieces Fresh jalapenos Choose firm, bright green jalapenos.
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened Acts as the main filling base.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese For extra cheesiness.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 cup Bread crumbs (optional) For additional crunch.
  • Cooking spray To prevent sticking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut each jalapeno in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  • Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture, making sure to fill generously.
  • Sprinkle bread crumbs over filled jalapenos if using.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Place the filled jalapeno halves in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch for even cooking.

Cooking

  • Cook in the air fryer for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until the jalapenos are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Once done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can serve with dips like ranch, sour cream, or guacamole. Consider garnishing with chopped cilantro or green onions.
