  • 2 large Fresh large eggs Use the freshest eggs for best results.
  • 1 splash Water Enough to cover the bottom of the ramekin.
  • 1 spray Non-stick cooking spray or oil Optional, for preventing sticking.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 270°F (130°C).
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray or brush it with oil.
  • Fill a small oven-safe ramekin with a splash of water.
  • Crack an egg carefully into the ramekin, ensuring not to break the yolk.
  • Season the egg with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the ramekin in the preheated air fryer basket.
  • Cook the egg for about 8 to 10 minutes, checking for doneness at 8 minutes.
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the ramekin from the air fryer.
  • Use a spoon to gently lift the egg out or slide it onto your plate.
  • Repeat the process for additional eggs if needed.

Notes

For serving, place the poached egg on toasted bread or an English muffin, and add avocado or sautéed spinach. Feel free to sprinkle with herbs or serve alongside roasted vegetables.
