  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste Fresh herbs for garnish Optional

Preparation

  • Wash the red potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  • Cut the potatoes into quarters or bite-sized pieces, ensuring they are roughly the same size for even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potato pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even browning. The potatoes are ready when they turn golden brown and fork-tender.
  • Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) to retain crispiness. Experiment with different seasonings for flavor variations.
