  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Coats the carrots for roasting.

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme Optional, adds extra flavor.

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Wash the carrots thoroughly to remove dirt or debris. Peel if desired.
  • Cut carrots into uniform pieces, about 1 to 2 inches long.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine carrot pieces, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and optional dried thyme. Toss until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned carrots in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Roast the carrots for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • After 20 minutes, check for tenderness. If needed, roast for an additional 2-5 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the basket and transfer the roasted carrots to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving hot.

Notes
