Shrimp and Marinade Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Use large shrimp for best results
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper Optional for heat
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir until you create a smooth marinade.
  • Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss them until well coated in the seasoning mixture.

Cooking

  • Once the air fryer is preheated, arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Cook the shrimp for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Remove the shrimp when they turn pink and opaque, transfer them to a serving platter, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, use the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3 to 4 minutes.
