  • 1 piece Steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon) Choose your favorite cut.

Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For brushing the steak.
  • to taste Salt Use as desired for seasoning.
  • to taste Black pepper Use as desired for seasoning.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Optional for additional flavor.
  • to taste Fresh rosemary or thyme Optional herbs for seasoning.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and black pepper. Add garlic powder and herbs if using.
  • Lightly brush the seasoned steak with olive oil.
  • Place the seasoned steak in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.

Cooking

  • Set the cooking time for 8-12 minutes, depending on desired doneness. Flip the steak halfway through cooking.
  • Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer: aim for 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare and 145°F (63°C) for medium.

Serving

  • Remove the steak from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
  • Slice the steak against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Pair the steak with sides like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a salad. Consider using garlic butter or a sauce for added richness.
