Preparation

  • Begin by washing the zucchinis under cool water to remove any dirt.
  • Slice the zucchinis into thick rounds or half-moons, about ½ inch in thickness.
  • In a large bowl, combine the zucchini slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the zucchini is evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned zucchini in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook the zucchini in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for doneness; the zucchini should be golden brown and tender. Add an additional 2-3 minutes if a crispier finish is desired.
  • If you like, sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top after cooking.
  • Remove the zucchini from the air fryer and serve immediately.
