Ingredients

For the pie filling

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Use high-quality peanut butter for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream Whip in a chilled bowl for best results.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 package vanilla pudding mix Instant pudding mix works best.
  • a pinch salt

For the crust and topping

  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust Store-bought crust is convenient.
  • Whipped cream for topping Add to each slice before serving.
  • to taste Chocolate shavings or chopped peanuts Optional garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream gently into the peanut butter mixture, ensuring it's combined without losing the airy texture.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk and vanilla pudding mix until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Once thickened, fold the peanut butter mixture into the pudding until fully incorporated.
  • Pour the creamy filling into the prepared graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly using a spatula.

Chilling

  • Refrigerate the pie for at least two hours to allow it to set properly.

Serving

  • Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or chopped peanuts if desired.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor. Consider making the pie the day before to enhance flavor and texture.
