  • 1 oz tequila Use your favorite brand.

Preparation

  • Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in salt to coat.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of blood orange juice, 1 oz of tequila, 1 oz of triple sec, and 1 oz of lime juice.
  • Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

Serving

  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with a slice of blood orange.

Notes
