  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
  • In a separate large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Baking

  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
  • Remove cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
