Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F or your oven to the same temperature if baking.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine orange juice, soy sauce, maple syrup, cornstarch, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Whisk until well blended.
  • Add cubed tofu to the bowl and gently toss to ensure it's well coated. Let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.

Cooking

  • For air frying, place the marinated tofu in the basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • For pan-frying, heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the coated tofu for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • For baking, spread tofu evenly on a lined sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally.

Finishing Touches

  • Toss the cooked tofu in any remaining sauce for added flavor.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

To enhance flavors, marinate the tofu a day in advance. Try adding greens like spinach or kale for added nutrition.
