Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

For the Broccoli

  • 3 cups broccoli florets

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the spices into the chicken.
  • Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Cooking Broccoli

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the broccoli florets. Blanch for about 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  • Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.

Making the Sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until melted and thickened. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Assembly

  • Place a generous scoop of broccoli in the bottom of a bowl.
  • Slice the grilled chicken and arrange it on top of the broccoli.
  • Drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken and broccoli.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for an hour or overnight. Use fresh ingredients for better taste. Allow the dish to cool before storing leftovers in airtight containers.
