  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour Sift before measuring to ensure even texture.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the vanilla and eggs until well combined.
  • Gradually add in the flour, mixing until just combined.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

Baking

  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
