  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) while preparing the brats.
  • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt to create a seasoning blend.
  • Pat the bratwursts dry with paper towels, ensuring they are free of moisture.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over each bratwurst.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned brats in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch.

  • Check for an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) using a meat thermometer.
  • Once cooked, remove the brats from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a classic touch, serve in toasted buns with mustard and sauerkraut. Add a toppings bar with onions, pickles, jalapeños, or relish. Store leftovers in an airtight container; they can be refrigerated for up to 4 days or frozen for 2 months.
