Crust

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers

Filling

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream Beat until soft peaks form
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed or from concentrate
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whipped topping (optional for garnish)
  • Fresh orange slices for garnish Optional

Preparation

  • Crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs using a food processor or a zip-lock bag and rolling pin. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  • In another mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then gradually mix in the powdered sugar.
  • Pour in the orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract into the cream cheese mixture and mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula.
  • In a dish or individual cups, layer the crushed graham cracker crumbs, followed by the cream mixture, continuing with these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the cream mixture.

Chilling

  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Serving

  • Before serving, garnish with whipped topping and fresh orange slices.

Notes

For a stronger orange flavor, increase the amount of orange zest. Use fresh orange juice for best results. Consider other crust options such as crushed chocolate cookies.
